It's been a while since I've uploaded music tracks to my profile here, but I HAVE been at work! I plan to *hopefully* upload all of my newer tracks today but I may not get around to it. School has created a IMMENSE workload for me which has basically limited my ability to work on songs by quite a bit. I've been experimenting with FL Studio more than ever trying to learn little quirks that'll make my songs better. So hopefully over time, the quality of my songs will increase.
I haven't made a whole album or anything just a few tracks which I plan to upload (Or have already uploaded, depends when you're reading this XD). Here's what is hopefully a complete list of my new songs and upcoming songs (I've included the genre or the expected genre of the piece plus a small description):
COMPLETED WORKS:
- Acids and Basses (Dubstep) [Typical wobble-bass dubstep]
- Avicta's Nest (Drum n' Bass) [Dnb with lots of unique percussion, nature sounds and record needle drops (You'll see when it's uploaded)]
- Huedan's Blitz (Drum n' Bass) [Dnb with more unique percussion]
- Science in the House (House) [House. I can't really describe it further than that. Kinda chill and laidback but still groovy... maybe...]
When I say "unique percussion" I'm refering more towards what I think is obscure and unorthodox percussion that isn't typical in songs like guiros, woodblocks, cowbells (not really lol) etc.
WORKS IN PROGRESS:
- Outsider (Trance) [Creepy music about being an outsider. Currently having trouble with the speech synthesizer :/]
- Pi (Dance/Trance) [Basically, the main melody is the number pi mapped to a soundboard. So 1 would be C, 2 would be C# etc. Just sorta out of ideas for it]
- Death's Rule (Drum n' Bass) [Dnb with cowbells and stuff. Kinda stuck here too]
So hopefully the songs that are completed can be uploaded today and hopefully I can work in NG and music composing into my scheduale. I hope to also participate A LOT more in the Review For Review thread - I've got a good idea I want to try out there. That is, if I can manage it, school, life and all things associated with it. I feel exhausted just thinking about it.
Well thanks for reading! I know, it's pretty long. Keep on keepin' on.
